Enjoy a hands-on exploration into letterpress by using wooden type. An assortment of fonts will be utilized to create prints that make a personal statement, a short poem, or a message that can be cut into pennant flags. Participants will be guided through the safe handling of type and operation of a Vandercook printing press and have prints to take home.
Printing is a fun experience to learn with a friend! Sign up together and you each save $15.
Tools & Materials: Any printmaking journey involves ink and the ink used will stain clothes so aprons are recommended. Bring some ideas about what you’d like to create or feel it out. Ink and paper will be provided.
All Classes are held at Editions, located at 6520 5th Ave S #114 Seattle, WA 98108. Go through the red door (or big white door if it’s open) and turn right past the blacksmiths.

Cancellation Policy
Withdrawals 15 or more days before the beginning of a workshop will receive a full refund of tuition and supply fee, minus a $25 processing charge.
Withdrawals 4-14 days prior to the workshop will receive a 50% refund of tuition and supply fee, minus a $25 processing charge.
No refunds are possible for withdrawals 3 or fewer days in advance of the first day of class, or for no-shows.
Exceptions to this policy are only made for documented medical emergencies.
