For anyone who’s made boxes before, this is a fun class to make a precisely fitting clamshell box for books or other treasures deserving safety. The half walls allow a snug fit and sturdy architecture. We will be making ours from bookboard and covering them in bookcloth.
Materials:
Book cloth, paper, and glue will be provided
Please bring the following materials, if possible. The studio has limited quantities of these items.
Pencil
Scissors
Bonefolder
Xacto Type Craft Knife
Cutting Mat
Metal Edged Ruler
Glue Brush (we recommend a 1" flat brush)
All Classes are held at Editions, located at 6520 5th Ave S #114 Seattle, WA 98108. Go through the red door (or big white door if it’s open) and turn right past the blacksmiths.

Cancellation Policy
Withdrawals 15 or more days before the beginning of a workshop will receive a full refund of tuition and supply fee, minus a $25 processing charge.
Withdrawals 4-14 days prior to the workshop will receive a 50% refund of tuition and supply fee, minus a $25 processing charge.
No refunds are possible for withdrawals 3 or fewer days in advance of the first day of class, or for no-shows.
Exceptions to this policy are only made for documented medical emergencies.
