Long Stitch Binding
Long Stitch Binding
A Sturdy and Elegant Structure
Saturday, March 9th, 2024
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
The Long Stitch is a binding structure that has held up in the earliest examples from the 1400s. It is a great beginner course as the materials required are essentially the text, needle, thread and cover material. Owing to its simplicity, it has spawned countless variations by bookbinders over time. It can be used with soft or rigid materials and will inspire those new to bookbinding as well as seasoned binders looking to revisit a traditional form.
Bookbinding is a great adventure to have with a friend! Sign up together and you each save $20.
